Private School Proprietors Asked To Register Their Teachers With SSNIT

The Gomoa West District Director of Education, Mr Peter Bright Amankrah, has appealed to proprietors of private schools to register their teachers with the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT). Mr Amankrah was addressing members of the Private Schools Association in the district at a get-together at Apam. He said should the proprietors refuse the teachers should register with SSNIT and submit their registration cards to their school head for payment of their contributions. Mr Amankrah advised proprietors to work within the confines of the GES policy guidelines on the establishment of private schools. Mr Kweku Woode of the Apam Queens Academy urged Private School teachers to continue to do their best for the benefit of their schools. Mr Ebenezer Kojo Quansah of the Apam Crystal Academy appealed to teachers in Private School to undertake refresher courses to up-grade their knowledge.
