A three-year-old boy has been murdered by a woman who alleges the child�s mother had accused her of theft in the Ashanti Region.
Twenty-one-year-old Talata Baana, now in the custody of Nkawie Police, seized Enoch Bambilla on the blind side of his mother about a week ago from Suame Magazine to Toase.
She allegedly forced the boy to drink a substance police suspect to be DDT, and abandoned him to die in a bush where she later led police to retrieve the body following her arrest.
Father of the boy, Bambilla Nkosum told Adom News that residents of the area sighted the lady abducting the little boy and hence called on the police to arrest her.
He recounted that the lady after being accused of theft cursed her accusers and hence does not know why she would take such action.
He narrated further that the murdered boy was a playmate to kids of the suspect and hence the two had a cordial relationship.
Nkawie Divisional Commander, Chief Superintendent Isaac Buah confirmed that police investigations showed that the boy�s death is connected to the incident and hence was preparing Talata for court next week.
