A former Eastern Regional Women�s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mrs Lucy Baah Akuffo (Nee Lucy Larnor), died at the Koforidua Regional Hospital on Tuesday after a short illness.
She was 56 years, and left behind Mr Moses Baah Akufo , the widower and five children .
She was the longest serving Regional Women�s Organizer of the party and served from 1992 to 2004 .
Mr Moses Baah Akuffo said, programme for the funeral would be announced later .
