The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has implored Ghanaians to rally behind the President to fulfill the Better Ghana Agenda he promised the nation.
A statement signed by the party�s General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia said: �The NDC encourages the nation to rally behind the President, John Dramani Mahama as he strives to pursue the Better Ghana Agenda towards a secured future for the nation.�The NDC in its New Year message to citizens urged the nation to embrace 2015 with �selflessness, discipline and commitment towards the attainment of the nation�s socio-economic and political aspirations.�
According to the governing party, despite the many socio-economic challenges the nation faced in 2014, the country was also blessed with �unmerited favour.�
�The year 2015 promises hope, encouragement and desire to lift the nation unto a new era of prosperity and success,� the statement added. Asiedu Nketia advised citizens to resolve to work hard to collectively make Ghana �great and strong.�
�We should be motivated by sacrifices and toil that motivated founders of the nation in their attempt to lay the foundation for building a better future for the nation,� the statement added.
