Ayawaso East MP donates to Nima East Ward

Mr Mark Nazar, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso East, has donated 50 plastic chairs to the Nima East Ward of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to facilitate its operations. The Legislator also presented a cheque for GH₵ 500 to the ward to take care of miscellaneous activities which are of interest to members. Mr Nazar said the gesture was in fulfillment of his promise to the ward and said he plans to give GH₵ 500 to the ward every quarter to resolve pressing issues affecting members. He promised to visit the ward at its meetings regularly to chart the way forward for the party. Mr Nazar added that he spearheaded the renovated the Nima market station with pavement blocks and currently presenting a trip of sand for development in the community. He called for peace and unity among members since it is key to the development of party in retaining power for 2016. Alhaji Adamu Clipper, National Coordinator of the Ward, thanked the MP for the initiative, explaining that it is signify sign of commitment to listening leadership and pledge their support to maintain the item and make judicious use of the money. Mr Olabode Williams, Chairman of NDC Ayawaso East urged members to be united and elect competent person for the district assembly elections slated in March.
