Photos: SIC Life Donates Several Items To Sustain National Sanitation Day

As a responsibility of giving back to society, SIC Life, has donated working gears to the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development to help sustain the National Sanitation Day Exercise. On behalf of the company, Mr. Aaron Issa Anafure, who is the Managing Director presented: twenty (20) wheel barrows; hundred (100) helmets; hundred (100) rakes; five hundred (500) nose masks; hundred (100) wellington boots; hundred (100) shovels and hundred (100) gloves to be used whenever clean up exercises are up. On top of this, SIC Life promised to add an additional twenty thousand t-shirts to the above items. Mr. Aaron Issa Anafure in an address to the media revealed that the unflinching support shown by President Mahama, the Asantehene and Hon. Julius Debrah ever since the exercise was commenced drove them to purchase the items and donate them. He stated that if a war-torn country like Uganda isn�t as dirty as Ghana, then we must all do our best to ensure we have a better sanitary condition. The MD for SIC Life also took the opportunity to announce that they were preparing to help the University of Ghana Business School with an elevator to help the physically challenged people who might use the facility. Aside this, the company would also embark on CSR program which is aimed at paving the dusty floor of the Ayaloolo Cluster of School in Accra. Receiving the items on behalf of the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, Hon. Julius Debrah, expressed satisfaction for what the SIC Life has done and called on others to emulate this kind gesture. He was full of joy and appreciated the fact that cooperate entities were all seeing the need to be part of the program which is aimed at improving our health.
