The West Akyem Municipal Director of the National Commission on Civic Education, NCCE, Madam Modesta Annie Sapaty, has advised women not to shy away from the forthcoming District Assembly Elections.
Rather, they should boldly campaign vigorously and give convincing messages to the electorate, so that they could be elected to district assemblies, to champion the cause of women.
Madam Sapaty gave the advice in an interaction with religious bodies, women and social groups, opinion leaders, as well as residents in communities within the Municipality, on the local elections.
