Hearts To Play 2 Home Matches At Kpando And Essipon

Accra Hearts of Oak will play two of their opening home matches in the new season away from home as they continue to serve suspension from last season. The Phobians side were handed a two-match home ban after being found guilty for misconduct and violence by their officials, players and supporters during and after a Premier League match against New Edubiase in Accra on 4th June, 2014. The Phobians will now play match-day-1 in the 2014-2015 First Capital Premier League season against WAFA at the Kpando Park on January 17. Hearts will complete their home suspension when they host Medeama in their match-day-3 encounter at the Essipong Stadium on January 24. Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association will organize a media seminar for media representatives of the entire 16 premier League Clubs next week. The exercise which will be used to teach and explain some basic ethics in media will last for a week. Media officers of all Clubs are therefore expected to confirm their participation before the said date. The one-week exercise is mainly aimed at establishing the awareness to conduct pre-match press conferences and grant post-match interviews when the 2014/15 Ghana Premier League kicks off. There has been complaints from the various media houses of Clubs unwillingness to conduct pre-match conferences and post-match interviews during League games.
