Okwawu United Board Members Quit Club Due To Financial Difficulties

Former Ghana Premier League campaigners Okwawu United are reportedly said to be in dilemma after the team had all its board members withdrawing from the various positions. Ghanasportsonline.coms sources close to the Club indicates that the division one side has been left in dejection after the resignation of the board members of the Club. The Club is said to have been facing financial constraints as players and officials of the Club have refused to turn up for training due to unpaid salaries. The Nkwakwa-based Club has been struggling to redeem themselves ever since they got demoted to Ghanas third-tier League following an alleged match fixing allegation with FC Nania during a play-off game in April 2007.
