NPP Targets More Seats To Unseat NDC We Have Strategies To Win 2016 Elections

The Third National vice Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Fredrick Fredua Antoh has emphasized the need for the party to annex more Parliamentary seats to unseat the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2016 General Elections. Speaking at unity party held by the NPP in Kumasi recently, Mr. Antoh noted that there is the need for the party to stage a serious campaign by going into the hinterlands to sweep votes in the Parliamentary elections. According to him, that is the surest way and means to bring the Elephant family back to power to liberate Ghanaians from the growing hardships in the country. He called on all NPP members to come on board to steer the affairs of the party ahead of the 2016 General Elections. Mr. Antoh said the NPP should not take for granted the two consecutive loss of power to the ruling NDC and urged the party to work towards recapturing the Ahafo Ano North seat, which was whisked away from the Danquah-Bussia-Dombo family. We have to strategise to win upcoming 2016 General Elections, he stated. Mr. Antoh bemoaned the situation where the NDC is gradually gaining roots in the Ashanti Region with a corresponding hike in votes in each election. The NPP third vice chairman, therefore, charged leaders of the party to correct the upsurge of NDC votes in the Region, by asking them to adopt door to door, cottage to cottage, car to car and bed to bed campaigns. The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Mr. Bernard Antwi Bosiako, aka Womtumi , indicated that it is time the NPP staged a fierce campaign and pull incredible supporters to vote for the party. He revealed that the Members of Parliament and other party functionaries have brought on new strategies to be used in the campaign era to help sway votes for the party. He described the 2016 General Elections as a David and Goliath affair, saying David (NPP) will pummel Goliath (NDC ) on the Election Day, come 2016. According to Chairman Womtumi, NDC have nothing good for Ghanaians and that God will definitely redeem Ghanaians at the elections.
