It Was Self-Defense Suspected Murderer Of 10-Year-Old Boy

The prime suspect in the murder of a 10-year-old boy in Sissala East in the Upper West Region has been arrested by the Police. The suspect, Abudulai, has been on the run after Police found the decomposed body of the little boy. He is believed to be the one who slashed the boy into pieces with a cutlass. The five suspects, who were earlier on arrested, have however been granted bail by the Police following the arrest of Abudulai. The Sissala East District Police Commander, ASP Benjamin Sumani ,in an interview with Citi News, narrated that the Police had information that the actual perpetrator who murdered the small boy had been found near the Navrongo-Bolga road. All the statements given to us tell us that the Abdullai guy who has been arrested was the person who committed the offence, he said. According to ASP Sumani, the suspect upon arrest confessed to the crime but insisted it was self-defense. He has been arrested, and I asked him what actually happened and he said the small boy was rather trying to slash him with a cutlass, but he was fast enough to collect the cutlass from him and used the cutlass by cutting him into pieces, he said. Last week, the body of the 10-year-old boy, Kobey Bagbeseh, who hails from Banu in the Sissala East District was found in the bush with the head, the left arm and the two feet missing. He is believed to have been murdered when he and his 8-year-old brother, Ben Bagbeseh, accompanied their father, Abugu Bagbeseh, to the farm last Tuesday.
