Injury Woes Hit Algeria Camp Ahead of Ghana Clash

Ghana�s group C opponent Algeria has been hit by an injury scare after striker Islam Slimani and defender Rafik Halliche all suffered various knocks ahead of Friday�s big clash against the Black Stars. The duo could not last the full training session at the Municiple de Mongomo ahead of their second group game. The two were said to have suffered various knocks in Algeria�s opening group game against South Africa last Monday. Although the state of the injuries have not being confirmed by the medical team, the two are likely to miss the crunch game at the Estadio de Mongomo today. Slimani who scored Algeria�s second goal against South Africa is said to have suffered a leg injury hence was given a break in their training session on Tuesday whiles Halliche also suffered from fatigue. The two however were taken through separate fitness tests during the team�s final training session on Thursday. The Black Stars clash with the Desert Foxes today at exactly 18:00GMT [4pm local time]
