A Policeman has shot and killed himself at the Central Police station in Accra, it has been reported. The officer, identified as Constable Salifu Iddrisu, committed the act during an identification parade of some suspected criminals on Tuesday. Police officials believe Iddrisu mistakenly pulled the trigger on himself when he was transporting some suspected gang of criminals to the Central police command. His death was confirmed at the Police Hospital in Accra.
