Ill Put My Money On Ghana To Win AFCON

The Nigerian young forward believes the Black Stars are in a pole position to annex the Nations Cup for the fifth time, having gone trophy-less in 33 years.

Nigerian striker Patrick Friday Eze insists Ghana will win the Africa Cup of Nations 2015 and can bet his last on it.

The 22-year-old Mladost Lucani forward is confident the time has come for the Black Stars to rule Africa again after 33 years without a trophy.

“I think Ghana can win the trophy, it is true they started very bad but with the first win they got against Algeria and with the subsequent breathtaking win against South Africa, the team is now full of confidence,” Eze told Goal.

“The return of my idol and mentor Asamoah Gyan in the team is a big plus for Ghana so I think I can put my money on Ghana.”

Eze is relishing the day he will play alongside the Al Ain striker at club level. The budding forward has scored six goals in 14 appearances for Mladost this season in the Serbian top-flight.
