Agyemang Badu: Avram Grant Is A Wonderful Man

Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyamang Badu has lauded Coach Avram Grant after the Israeli trainer qualified the team to the quarter finals of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations. The former Chelsea manager ensured the black stars secured a fifth successive quarter finals berth after guiding the team to record a 2-1 win over South Africa in the final Group C match last Tuesday. Badu who have been used by the coach in all three games so far at the AFCON has applauded Grant for his impetus since taking up the Black Stars job. He [Grant] is a wonderful man; not even as a coach, but as a person, Badu told Accra-based Joy FM. Apart from the coaching side, he is very inspirational. He is one of the coaches I have met in my life who give confidence to his players and this is what keeps us going. Every time he sets an example for you to know that you can do it; just focus, concentrate and you will do it. With such a great coach and good man like this, I think he is a blessing to mother Ghana. The ex-West Ham and Portsmouth manager is on the quest of securing his third successive win at the AFCON when the Black Stars take on Guinea in the quarter finals stage on Sunday.
