Mario Balotelli put his footballing concerns to one side on Monday evening as he stepped out with former girlfriend Rafaella Fico and their young daughter, Pia.

The Liverpool striker, previously embroiled in a heated legal dispute with Italian showgirl Raffaella over access to their only child, joined the pair in central Manchester two days after his club side beat West Ham 2-0, a game in which he once again failed to score.

Sporting a garish red jacket and matching high-tops, Mario, 24, dined out with his ex-girlfriend and their daughter at the city’s San Carlo restaurant.
