108 Houses Is Small, I Am Building MoreI Dont Care What People Say Ken Agyapong

Politician cum business tycoon, Kennedy Agyapong says he is unperturbed by insults after making public of his 108 houses across the country.

According to him, even though he was factual to have mentioned the number of houses he owns, the story was twisted.

“What happened was, the lady who interviewed me said I accused the president of lying when he [President Mahama] noted in his State of the Nation Address that water is frequently flowing in areas like East Legon and Agyiriganor.

"...I told her that is not true because that is where I am coming from after which she said that, the engineers blame faulty pipelines if waters are not flowing in such areas.

“…I told the lady that, 26 houses in East Legon cannot have faulty pipelines at the same time…to which she asked me if I have 26 houses in East Legon. I then told her I have 108 houses across the country. What is wrong about that? But I am surprise people are raining insults on me for saying that,” he said

Ken who claims to have been a KP [brand of chewing gum] hawker quizzed OKAY FM’s "Ade Aye Bia" host, Kwame Nkrumah Tikese if he is restricted to sharing his success after toiling as a young man.

“So can’t I share my success story with anybody? why do Ghanaians find a problem with that? It’s too bad for them but I am going to acquire more of houses. What people say about me would never stop me from achieving what I want,” he noted

The outspoken NPP however lamented that, “I have set a target and until I complete that, I am not going to stop building. 108 houses is small, I am going to build more and i don’t care what people say about me. Whoever makes a comment about my buildings and says I'm a braggart, I don’t care…that’s me.

“…Nothing will discourage me. I have to say this to encourage the young ones that with determination, seriousness, honesty and commitment in business, you will do more than what Kennedy Agyapong has done. They should keep insulting me,” he said.
