Heart of Lions assistant coach Ben Fokuo has been appointed as the interim coach for the local Black Stars team. Ghanasportsonline.com has gathered.
 
Fokuo, who doubles as the assistant coach of the Black Maidens team has been chosen to act as the stand-in coach for the team as they prepare for their COSAFA tourney.

Head coach Maxwell Konadu is currently with the Black Stars team in France preparing ahead of the crucial double-header with Mali and Senegal.

Fokuo is however expected to act as a stop-gap coach till Maxwell Konadu returns from France.

Dauda Lutterodt meanwhile will maintain his position as the assistant coach of the side.
