Ghanaians And Some Chiefs Are Satisfied With Prez Mahamas Good Works - Kofi Adams

National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has indicated ahead of his party’s internal elections that President John Dramani Mahama will be retained as the ruling party’s Presidential candidate for the 2016 general elections.

According to him, it will be foolish on their part as a political party to change President Mahama after the populace and some chiefs have accepted the performance of the Mahama-led administration.

Speaking on Okay Fm’s "Ade Akye Abia" Morning Show, Kofi Adams hinted that some chiefs who never supported the NDC in the past have now offered their total support to President John Mahama and the NDC for laudable projects in their various communities.

Commenting on whether the NDC will elect a new flagbearer, Mr. Adams insisted he is quite sure President Mahama will be retained, coupled with the fact that his acceptance level is high due to his good works.

…but I’m quite sure that with all the good works of President Mahama and the level of acceptance from the populace especially some chiefs that I Kofi Adams know they don’t support NDC but have changed their minds now, it will be foolish on our side as a political party to change him for another candidate.

Today, they [chiefs] tell you that with the projects being embarked on by President Mahama in their various areas, they are satisfied,”he disclosed.
