STATEMENT: YFM Management Speaks On Presenter, Princess Ada's Dehumanising Incident
Management of YFM would like to thank the general public for their support and well wishes for Princess Ada and the station during this difficult time.
These are trying times for her and her family and we urge the general public to exercise restraint and also respect her privacy as she recovers from this trauma in hospital.
Since the incident, we have been in constant contact with her next-of-kin while working closely with the regional police command to unravel the circumstances surrounding her unfortunate abduction. We urge all to remain calm and allow the police to conduct their investigations.
We appeal to our fellow media practitioners to be circumspect in their reportage and avoid needless speculation.
We have every confidence in the Ghana Police Service to bring this matter to its logical conclusion. Let us keep her in our prayers.
