Baako Slams P.C. Appiah Ofori

The Managing Editor for the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Mr Kwaku Baako has lambasted the Asikuma-Odoben- Brakwa Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. P.C. Appiah Ofori for what he described as his useless allegation over the GT-Vodafone deal. Speaking on Peace FMs Kokrokoo show, Mr Baako said he is of the view that Mr Appiah Ofori needs to be either dismissed from or sanctioned by the NPP because he is adding no value to the party's efforts and Ghanas development as a whole. According to Mr Baako, the MP is not imparting to the youth any sense but is rather peddling lies just to gain public attention. He added, He does not research, neither does he possess any documents to substantiate the allegations he has been making. The Social Commentator was speaking in reaction to Hon. Appiah Oforis allegation on Peace FM last Monday that, NPP MPs took 5,000 dollars each in bribe, to vote in favour of the GT-Vodafone deal. He said Hon. Appiah Ofori wants Ghanaians to see him as an anti-corruption campaigner but he does not merit that kind of acclaim because his behaviour leaves much to be desired. He added that the MP is a bad example for the youth who are aspiring to political office.
