My attention has been drawn to an online publication on Peace FM online, with reference to a Press Statement perported to have been issued by a group, Senya Voice of Youth.
I wish to emphatically and respectfully state that the statement is full of lies and fabrications aimed at damaging my hard earned reputation.
The facts are very simple
1. The document is fraudulent. One Joris Ocran, architent behind this release, puts down names of people who are not aware of what he is doing. 3 of the signatories have come out and denied being part of the said document
2. The Press Release is full of lies and confused statements.
- George has the prevelage of having access to three family houses in Senya, he sleeps there, and he has met and revieved delegates amd variois guests there severally
- How can somebody who completed SHS in July who was on awaiting result have a certificate to be looking for a high profile job?
- Joris was not part of the delegation who went for that job hunting and in any case he wasnt an executive member of that acclaimed group.
- Other who qualified where shortlisted for an interview-Sergo Emmanual
- In any case George Abeka, Eben Aidoo and Yawson have said it loud and clear that they are unaware of that press release, that they are not signatories to the release and that shows the malicious intent begind what he e executed.
3. When they have gone through the right process, Senya has received sponsorship from organizations where George has worked just like every other community.
- In August 2010 GNA facilitated for a sponsorship for the Akomase festival. That can be confirmed by Hon. Alex Essoun, Hon. Onansis(Ahonfe) Anderson and a former Presiding Member of Awutu Effutu Senya District, Mr. Kwesi Esseku.
4. George has not acquired land in bawjiase, he is not building a house there but in any case, assuming it was even true that he was building in Senya, are we not Ghanaians first and foremost so what is wrong if anyone legitimately builds in Bawjiase? Is he suggesting the the Bawjiase area is not recognised as part of the Awuti Senya West constituency and that they don't deserve this if it was the case?
5. If George is not wanted by the youth as he is alleging shld that be a good thing for Joris's and the party he supports?
6. George has contributed to a number of projects within the constituency including but not limited to the ongoing classroom expansion work at the Zion School
7. Joris Ocran as the architect of this mischieve, should leave the business of the NPP internal primaries to the discerning NPP delegates and focus on a) working with the NDC leadership to fix the ailing economy and b) working with his employer the District Assembly to improve sanitation, stop the degradation of the environment, develop infrastruture and human respurce capacity for which he is being paid by the hard working Ghanaian taxpayers, he must learn do mature politics and behave responsibly.
I attach a copy of an authentic statement and an apology from the leadership of the said group for your review and necessary action,
