The Police Administration says it is not undertaking any recruitment exercise presently and wants the general public to guard against any claims to the contrary.
A police-public education and sensitization statement issued Tuesday further entreated the public to “report any unscrupulous persons who might attempt to entice them into any recruitment fraud to the nearest Police Station or the CID Headquarters for the necessary action, or call toll-free hotlines; MTN and Vodafone Shortcode 18555, or 191 on All Networks for assistance.
