Former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings has denied using police escorts in her day to day schedules.
According to her, rumours that she enjoys the luxury of police outriders and regularly travels from Adjringano to the central business district under police escort, are all false.
A statement issued on Monday from the Office of former President Jerry John Rawlings clarified that "Mrs. Rawlings drives to the central business district daily without escort".
"We are reliably informed it is rather one Chris Wilmot who enjoys the luxury of police escort to and from the Adjiringano/Trasacco area and not Mrs. Rawlings as has been erroneously portrayed" the statement added.
