BOST Now A Create, Loot And Share Affair Titus Glover

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Tema East Constituency, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover says the Bulk Oil Storage and Transport Company (BOST), a strategic national reserve, has now become a place to ‘create, loot and share'.

Last week, some aggrieved workers of the company called on the President to set up a committee to investigate the activities of their Managing Director, whose decisions and actions they say cost the company financially.

Citing deep mismanagement and corruption as the major problems hindering the progress of BOST, the workers believe President Mahama’s swift action in investigating the matter will save the company from total collapse.

A leaked audit report by Ernst and Young and intercepted by Adomonline.com revealed massive theft and corruption at BOST. The issues have since generated heated debate among the citizenry, especially players in the oil industry.

Reacting to the audit report on Adom FM on Monday, Hon Titus Glover said the reported level of corruption at BOST is reflective of the leadership failure of President John Mahama, adding that BOST has now become a place where government officials ‘steal’ from the state.

“BOST is now a create, loot and share affair. In fact, such corrupt acts will never happen under Nana Akufo-Addo when he becomes the president of the Ghana," he declared.

“They must allow competent people to work rather than bringing in people who will only come and spend monies when they have not worked for it. The corruption is just too much” Titus Glover added.
