NPP Executives Lock Office �To Prevent Aspirant From Filing

Information reaching The New Crusading GUIDE  indicates that, some executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at  Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency in the Eastern Region  locked up the constituency office when Mr. John Obiri Yeboah,  an aspiring candidate went to file his nomination papers on Sunday.

According to the information, Mr. John Obiri Yeboah who was caught up in a NASARA meeting with other executive members including other aspirants, later in the day, went to the party office to present his papers to the party executives only to meet a closed office.

The development has revealed some sinister plot which is underway within the leadership of the NPP at Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency in the Eastern Region to ensure that Mr. John Obiri Yeboah, who expressed interest in contesting the Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency election on the ticket of the party, does not make it at the end.

This situation is somehow creating a divided front within the party ahead of the Constituency primaries.

 According to sources, some constituency executives including the Organizer and the General Secretary are alleged to be the people trying hard to ensure that John Obiri-Yeboah does not file his nomination papers and hence be disqualified afterwards so they locked up the constituency party office upon hearing that John Obiri-Yeboah was coming to file his papers.

According to sources, the incident shown nothing but that of a well-planned scheme to destroy John Obiri-Yeboal's ambition.

Interestingly, it took the Chairman and the Financial Secretary and the 1st Vice to receive the nomination forms from John Obir-Yeboah, in front of the closed office.

This situation has been described by many within the constituency as unfortunate.
