Teachers Fight After Drinking 8 Tots Of Mahogany Bitters & Guinness

An obscene scene was said to have been created at the Ahwia Nkwanta in the Ashanti Region on Monday when two trained teachers ended up fighting each other over an alcoholic beverage.

The brawl attracted eyewitnesses including Peace FM’s regional correspondent, Teacher Korsah to the scene.

Our correspondent gave the names of the teachers as Mr. Paul Nkansh, an English Teacher and Mr. Fredrick Kilson, a Maths Teacher.

According to him, the two teachers, decided to have an alcohol binge at a local pub but a misunderstanding ensued between them when one realized that the other, had ditched him to order a bottle of Guinness just after they had each drunk 4 tots of Mahogany bitters.

Paul Nkansah is said to have paid for the bitters they both drunk but became furious when he realized that Fredrick Kilson had ordered for a bottle of Guinness and paid for it out of the GHC 10 he (Paul) had given to the bar attendant.

Paul confronted his friend over the issue and asked him why he requested for the drink without his notice. But gentle words weren’t enough to solve the issue.

The two started with head butts and continued with the goat-like style of fight until Paul, grabbed the Guinness bottle from his friend, broke it and tried stabbing him with it.

However, the crowd present managed to stop him from stabbing his friend with the broken bottle and tried arresting the two on behalf of the police. When the two teachers discovered the intent of the crowd, they bolted like lightening.

Despite making an escape, the town dwellers have promised to make sure the two teachers atone for their shame and advised students not to emulate the lives of Paul Nkansah and Fredrick Kilson.
