Dada Hafco Releases New Highlife Single "Hini Me"

Terry Asare Boamah, popularly known as Dada Hafco in the music fraternity has released his first single for this year 2015 titled “Hini Me”.

Dada Hafco, a former member of the award winning group Mframa has been solo since 2012 and has since churned out so many hit songs.

The “Mayentena” and “Mensesa” hit maker said in an interview that he wants to churn out only good and matured music. Music that has relevance on society and would Educate, Entertain and Inform his fans and music lovers all over the world. When asked about the new song “Hini Me”, Dada Hafco said that he wrote this record to be an apology letter for all men in Ghana and the world.

“Hini Mi” which literally means “Open the Door” is a Hi-Life masterpiece. The main theme of the song is an apology to a woman from a man who left home and wants to come back home. The song is a mid-tempo hi-life tune that starts with a live saxophone and keyboard intro and a summary of the whole song and then breaks into full instrumentation and introduces the chorus of the song.

Dada Hafco sings his first verse about the wrongs he has done the woman and apologies for his mistakes and it is then followed up with the “Hini Me” chorus. A hook is introduced and directly followed by a classic Saxophone solo which then introduces Dada Hafco’s second verse. Dada Hafco, proves his lyrical and melodic dexterity by the witty, punchy, apologetic style of joggling his words to create a verse where he talks about what will happen if the woman refuses his apology. The song is brought to a close with the “Hini Me” chorus till fade.

This beautiful masterpiece was product by DDT with his slogan “Sweet Poison” proudly represented in the song.

Asked about his plans for the year, Dada Hafco hinted that the video for this tune would be coming out very soon and he is in line to releasing his first album as a solo artiste. He also said he has songs he wants to record with artist like Sarkodie, Obrafour, Samini, Efya and others.
