If Really We Want To Develop, We Must Stop The Pettiness Heward-Mills

Presiding Bishop of the Lighthouse Chapel International Bishop Dag Heward-Mills is incensed about why people always attribute success to voodoo or juju.

He noted that in Africa, when someone through hard work becomes prosperous, either he is called a drug dealer or a fraudster.

Citing himself as an example, Bishop Heward-Mills said he has heard fictitious stories about how “we are dealing in drugs and how we have a machine which prints money for this church”.

Dag Heward-Mills says it is only weak minds that would concoct stories against people flourishing in life through hard work.

He also revealed how people claim he has taken cows to India for money rituals at the expense of his church members.

He underscored the need for people to rise above such pettiness “if really we want to develop as a nation”.

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills said the country is in a state of comatose as Ghanaian leaders lack the wisdom to accelerate Ghana’s development.

The only way out, he added, is for people to work hard and pray for God’s guidance and blessings.
