The former Ghana coach believes it is possible to make a return to the Black Stars after departing seven years ago. Congo coach Claude Le Roy claims he will relish the opportunity to manage Ghana once more after his unsuccessful spell with the Black Stars nearly a decade ago. The 67-year-old took charge of Ghana between 2006 and 2008, during which he was tasked with winning the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations hosted by the West African country. However, a defeat to Cameroon in the semi-finals halted the Frenchman�s expectations, leading to his departure three months later. When asked of a possible return to Ghana, Le Roy admitted the future could be anywhere. �You never know the future. My contract with Congo ends in December so I will look up to my agent for my next move,� he told Metro FM. �I was very happy while I was the coach of Ghana and it is always a special place to be,� he said. After losing 1-0 to the Black Meteors in Accra on Saturday, Congo Olympic team, which is also coached by Le Roy, will play host to the Ghanaians in a fortnight in the second leg of the 2016 Olympic Games qualifiers. The winner will progress to face Nigeria. Le Roy won the 1988 Afcon with Cameroon and has had stints with Senegal and DR Congo.
