Otiko Afisa Djaba, National Women's Organizer of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), believes her party is under a spiritual attack after stating the mêlée in the party is not “ordinary” as physically seen.

Her comment comes on the heels of troubles surrounding the elephant and the sudden demise of its Upper East Regional Chairman, Adams Mahama.

According to her some demonic forces seeking the down fall of the party have thrown a “spiritual bomb at the NPP” adding that "there are enemies around us."

"This is the time to seek God's guidance and counsel to ensure that when there is grieve, there is anguish, there is pain in your house, as we have experience from the death of our brother, Adams," she added in an interview with Citi FM. 

Going biblical, she quoted the book of Matthew 2:18 saying, "We (NPP) are crying for Adams who is dead and for the wife and children of Adams..., we are crying for NPP to represent the voice of women."

"NPP is not dead, our beloved brother has died, we must stand together,” she urged party members.
