Ghanaians Are Not That Stupid To Vote Out NDC In 2016 Afotey Agbo

Even though many believe the ruling National Democratic Congress [NDC] led by President John Dramni Mahama has not kept to its promises of a “Better Ghana” agenda as expected, the Greater Accra Regional Minister is very optimistic the electorate would still want an ‘Umbrella’ government come 2016.

Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo was emphatic that the NDC-led government has done extremely well in terms of carrying out developmental projects across the country.

Though admiting that the country’s unending power crisis is worrying, he still held the view the NDC will retain power in next year's general elections.

Speaking on Accra-based Kasapa FM morning show, "Lion" as he is affectionately called, patted himself on the back for his role in beautifying the capital [Accra].

Ghanaians are not stupid; they will vote for the NDC. We [NDC] have done enough to win the mandate of the people, especially in Greater Accra. We are giving them the facilities that they need. I have done a lot of projects in almost all the constituencies in Greater Accra,” he gloated.

Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo further said the NDC will deliver to Ghanaians its numerous promises that appears to have delayed before election 2016.

That is why we are changing two-lane roads into dual carriages; that is why we are upgrading educational facilities in almost every corner of this region; and that is why we are sacrificing and making sure that almost every corner of the country benefits from infrastructural projects,” he stated.
