The conviction that the deadly in-fighting within the fold of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is attributable to a demonic bomb that has been thrown into the party to create confusion has been confirmed by a prophet in the Eastern Region who has predicted more trouble for the NPP in the coming months.
Rev. Isaac Osei-Bonsu, founder and general overseer of the Father’s Chapel International at Akyem Tafo in the Eastern Region, claim it has been revealed to him that the squabbles in the NPP will in the next few months get out of hand and may affect the peace of the country.
Known in the region for his accurate predictions, Rev. Osei-Bonsu further claimed he saw during prayers that the flag of the NPP had been divided into two ahead of the next general election.
The prophecy from the man of God followed similar messages he is said to have sent to the flagbearer of the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo two months ago through some executives of the party in the Abuakwa South constituency.
He warned that a bad omen would befall the NPP which may affect the presidential ambition of the flagbearer, but the prophecy was discarded by the executives.
It would be recalled that NPP Women's Organiser, Otiko Djaba recently rallied members of the embattled opposition party including its flagbearer to fast and pray for one week to halt the acrimony in the party.
According to her, the recent happenings in the party were “not normal” or “natural” hence the urgent need for prayers.
The call followed the internal wrangling in the NPP and verbal war against the national chairman, Paul Afoko and General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong which reached a crisis level after the party's Upper East regional chairman, Mahama Adams died following an acid attack on him.
Rev. Osei-Bonsu, confirming the divine attack said only intensive and genuine prayers can save the opposition party.
Many believe the manifestation of his previous prophecy was the acid attack on the Upper East Regional chairman of the NPP, Mr Adams, which eventually led to his sad and untimely death.
Delivering the recent prophecy after a prayer session at his House of Worship on Sunday, Rev. Osei-Bonsu also had a message for members in government. He said two prominent personalities in government will lose their lives.
Rev.Osei-Bonsu, earlier this year, at a prayer session at the Flagstaff House when he was invited to offer prayers revealed on a recorded video that there would be confusion at the presidency which would trigger two important persons around the president deserting their posts.
This prophecy came to past when the Executive Secretary to the President, Dr. Raymond Atuguba and the Chief of Staff departed from the Presidency with no apparent reasons.
Fathers Chapel International at Akyem Tafo has been a secret place of worship for many dignitaries across the country including some top musicians and politicians.
Rev. Osei –Bonsu who always shy away from blowing his own trumpet in the media declined further comment when approached for detailed explanation of his rather scary revelations.
