Ghana Will Survive - Gnassingbe

Togo President, Faure Gnassingbe has described the recent fire explosion incident at the GOIL fuel station as one of the most serious trials for Ghana but the nation will survive.

“This is one of the most serious trials that Ghana has had to undergo in its history but we believe that through these trials, Ghanaians will come out successfully” said  Gnasigbe.

Gnassingbe is currently in Ghana to commiserate with the nation after a heavy loss.

He visited the accident site at Circle and the 37 Military Hospital where some of the wounded are receiving treatment  with President Mahama.

“As it is done in African tradition, President Ouatara and myself had to consult one another and we quickly understood that there was the need for us to come and express our compassion and share with you the mourning and also clean your tears,” Gnassigbe stated.

He also expressed sympathy on behalf of Togo and Cote D’lvoire, saying the incident also affects both countries.
