Despite Group Of Companies Sets Up Disaster Relief Fund

A fund has been established to assist victims, who were seriously affected by the calamity that befell Ghana on 3rd June, 2015.

Over hundreds of lives including several properties were lost and damaged as a result of the floods and fire explosion that engulfed some areas within Kwame Nkrumah Circle.

The sad story has touched the hearts of Dr. Kwame Osie ‘Despite’, CEO of the Despite Group of Companies and Dr. Ofori Sarpong, CEO of Special Ice to establish a fund with a seed capital of GHC 100,000 to help the victims in need.

Part of the money would be used to cater for victims who suffered first-degree burns during the explosions and others with related problems would also be given the needed attention.   The two have followed and are delighted with the good works government, institutions and individuals are doing to help victims but believe contributing their widows mite would also go far to make an impact.

They called on people who would want to join them help families and persons who were affected to make their donation through MTN’s mobile money line 0553019301 or visit any Best Point Savings & Loans branch in the country.

This isn’t the first time the two gentlemen have joined forces to show such benevolence. They have a softer heart for widows and have continually assisted them yearly.
