NDC Begins Biometric Registeration Exercise For All Members

The Greater Accra Regional Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on all its members to register for their Biometric party cards to enable them vote in the upcoming parliamentary primary of the party.

According to a statement, signed by Joseph Ade Coker, Regional Chairman and copied to Jerry Johnson, Communications Officer of the party, the exercise is aimed at a scientific documentation of all members of the party for purposes that will maintain the party as the strongest political entity in the country and beyond.

The Regional Executive Committee is however, appealing to all members to ensure they turn out in their numbers to register at their various polling stations and wards across the region.

The statement said a team of officers from the Regional party office and National Executive officers would be visiting the various Constituencies, Wards and Branches to assist designated party officials in ensuring that the exercise is conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner across the region.

The Biometric registration exercise, which has already started is expected to end on July 31, 2015.
