Women Organizers Played A Vital Role In NPP�s Parliamentary Elections- Andy Owusu
Women Organizers in the Ashanti Regional branch of the New Patriotic Party, have been commended for stamping their authority on the party when it came to electing reps during last Saturday's parliamentary elections.
Thirteen (13) female candidates were crowned winners because they were backed by the group. Three (3) out of the thirteen (13), contested in orphan constituencies and won. The three candidates were:

In an interview with Peacefmonline.com, Mr. Andy Owusu, an aide to the Ashanti Regional Chairman, stated that statistics available to the party proves that in areas where sitting MPs had issues with their Women Organizers, announced results went against them.
According to him, Women Organizers in the region had results swaying in their direction in every constituency they set their eyes on.

Mr. Owusu urged the flagbearer of the NPP, Nana Akufo Addo emulate this strategy and ensure women have a say in whatever he does if he wants to knock President Mahama off with ease.
