I Will Lead A Crusade To Sue WAEC Kofi Adams

The National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has said the West Africa Examination Council [WAEC] must be sued for BECE leakage.

Describing the June 2015 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) cancellation as unfortunate, Kofi Adams accused WAEC officials of the masterminded malpractice – “This thing can't happen all the time, who are those behind that, someone must be questioned”.

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) cancelled five papers in the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) due to leakage of the papers.

In a statement signed by the deputy director of public affairs Agnes Teye Cudjoe Wednesday - WAEC is disappointed in the leakage of the Mathematics, Integrated science, Social Studies and English papers on social media platforms including Facebook and WhatsApp.

The release comes after massive public concern over the leakage of the papers ahead of the examination.

However, speaking on OKAY FM’s "Ade Akye Abia" morning show, Kofi Adams who claim the cancellation has affected his wards questioned the credibility of WAEC – “I just don’t understand how they work. I will lead a crusade to make sure they face the law”.

“Innocent students who have toiled to learn will rather suffer for someone’s slip-up. This must stop,” he added,
