The Bibiani SDA Primary School in the Bibiani township was on Monday ‘shit bombed’ by unknown persons.
Information obtained by The Finder revealed that this was the eighth time the school was experiencing such an act.
The education authorities in the Bibiani District, in reaction, ordered the closure of the school.
The reason for the action, the paper learnt, was to save over the 450 pupils from inhaling the nauseating stench that was emanating from virtually all the classroom blocks in the school.
The District Director of Education for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai, Mr Samuel Nyarko, said all the classrooms were being used as toilet facilities. “Meanwhile, there are toilet facilities in the town," a resident narrated.
In an interview with The Finder, Head teacher of the school, Yaw Aidoo could not tell the cause of the ‘shit bombing’.
He disclosed that it was the eighth time the school was experiencing such an attack.
He suspects some weed smokers who are close to the school.
Meanwhile, The Finder has gathered that there are toilet facilities in the area in question, but those involved in the practice prefer using the school as comfortable ground to ease themselves.
