The Public Relations Officer, (PRO) of the Tema Oil Refinery, (TOR), Mrs Aba Lokko has refuted the publication by the Daily Guide Newspaper that it is on a collision course with Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB), following its decision to divert its account to another bank, after accumulating a debt of over GH�900 from crude oil imports.
Speaking on Peace FM�s Morning Show, �Kokrokoo�, Aba Lokko said that for fast and effective business transactions it decided to rather use ECOBANK instead of GCB, but have not diverted its accounts to that bank.
However, she says TOR has numerous accounts with different banks nationwide. As such, it uses its discretion as to which bank to operate with, at any point in time.
