NPP parliamentary candidate for Lawra Constituency in the Upper West region, Anthony Abayifa Karbo has said the youth of his party are not to be blamed for the recent internal wrangling in the party.

Who to be blamed? – According to him, the internal spats are largely caused by unscrupulous frontrunners of the elephant fraternity.

“Leaders who have assumed exaggerated influence of themselves are the ones causing a stir in the party,” he said. 

Speaking on Accra-based Kasapa FM, the former NPP National Youth Organiser lamented that – “How can you be insensitive to the party you are seeking to serve”. 

Adding that – “Some of the troublemakers in the NPP now served in Kufuor’s administration. But anybody in the party with an ill-intention to cause disorder in the party won’t succeed”.
