Kwesi Ahwoi Is Ghana�s First Ambassador To Comoros

Ghana’s Ambassador to South Africa, Kwesi Ahwoi, has presented his credentials to the President of Comoros, Dr. Ikililou Dhoinine.

The presentation makes Mr. Ahwoi the first Ghanaian Ambassador to Comoros.

The two discussed bilateral relations between the two countries.

The Ambassador, who arrived in Comoros days ago, was with a delegation including his wife, Mrs Ewura-Abena Ahwoi, the Deputy Ambassador, Francis Yaw Osei-Sarfo and the Political Counsellor, Felix Nyarko.

After presenting his papers to the President, the two had discussions on fostering good bilateral relations between both countries.

Dr. Ikililou Dhoinine said with the football prowess of Ghana, he expects that “Ghana will help Comoros develop into a football nation as well”.

He said he was looking forward to more Ghanaians visiting and investing in Comoros due to the relationship the two countries will build.

On his part, Kwesi Ahwoi assured the President of Ghana’s readiness to foster a good relationship. He is expected to leave Comoros to South Africa on July 7.

He will celebrate the National Day of Comoros with the president and citizens on July 6.

Though Mr. Ahwoi resides in Pretoria, he is accredited as Ambassador to 5 other countries.

These are Comoros, Lesotho, Mauritius, Seychelles and Swaziland. He has presented his credentials to South Africa and Comoros.
