It was a joyous moment for some youth of the half Assini branch of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Western region when the District Chief Executive, Sylvester Nuomah Daddieh was relieve of his post.
The youth believe the action taken by President Mahama was necessitated by their call for his head.
They accused Mr. Nuomah Daddieh of incompetence and neglect of the grassroots which supported his nomination as the DCE.
Executives of the half Assini branch of the NDC in the Jomoro district have been at loggerheads with the former DCE challenging his leadership.
Some of the youth who spoke to Adom News expressed profound gratitude to President Mahama for granting them their heart desire.
They added that the removal of Mr. Nuomah Daddieh, there would be peace in the party.
