NPP's Battle Is The Lords Slogan Is Hypocritical- Alhaji Dori

One subject that has recently got tongues wagging and stealing front pages of most news portals, is the circulation of bare-chested images of New Patriotic Party executives who visited Talensi to prepare for the impending by-election.

News went viral that the bare-chested party executives had visited the area to deal in ‘juju’ and it is on this note that a member of the National Democratic Congress, Alhaji Dori has added his voice claiming that NPP’s desperation has left them with no option but to resort to “shrines” and “occultism”.

Far away in Saudi Arabia, Alhaji Dori spoke to Peacefmonline.com and disclosed that he remembers vividly how the NPP had kept using Gods’ name during the 2012 general elections.

I remember how they rattled the slogan the battle is the Lord's when they took Ghana to ransom with their frivolous 2012 elections petition when things did not go their way.”

He added that for the NPP to go ahead and loose the Supreme Court verdict to the NDC in the aftermath of the 2012 general elections goes a long way to show that the Almighty God was not fighting the battle for them.

I always said to myself that if indeed the Almighty goes in for a war, nothing will make Him loose; but the NPP lost the verdict to the NDC after the ruling by the nine Justices”, he said.

Alhaji Dori continued that “now I understand, it’s not the Almighty they (NPP) are referring to but to shrines and occultism. Believers in the supremacy of the Almighty will never bow before any other lesser god but God the Almighty”.

He therefore appealed to members of the NPP to repent from the act of polytheism and not to allow their eagerness to win power push God to punish Ghanaians.
