Disgruntled Supporters Of Afoko Assaulted NPP Executives - Koku Anyidoho Claims

A deputy General Secretary for the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Koku Anyidoho, has rubbished claims by some executives of the New Patriotic Party that they were attacked by some hoodlums suspected to be activists of the ruling party.

Shortly after the NPP's First National Vice-Chair, Freddie Blay confirmed to United Television (UTV) that some executives of the party were attacked by ‘thugs’ led by Azorka, a known member of the NDC, Mr. Anyidoho swiftly responded to his allegation claiming innocence on behalf of his party.

He challenged the NPP executives who claimed they have been attacked to come out and speak the truth since they know disgruntled supporters of their National Chairman, Mr. Paul Afoko, attacked them in the region.

In an interview with UTV, Mr. Anyidoho stated that never would members of the NDC harm an ant in Talensi let alone their counterparts in NPP, since the numbers favour them in the by-election.
