A young man popularly known as "Akorozo" is alleged to have roasted his own 8-year-old daughter Lordia Foaua with a heated iron.
According to Peace FM's Eastern Regional correspondent, Michael Akrofi, he warned her not to disclose it to anyone after the incident.
Information gathered indicates that, the unfortunate incident happened on Sunday afteroon, July 5, after the father was informed that his daugther, Lordia Foaua performed poorly in her school's mid-term exams.
The victim, Lordia Foaua a class one pupil of the Trinity Presby primary school at Adweso got 45% in the school mid- term exams, a performance which sparked the uncontrolled anger of the father.
He therefore used a heated iron to roast the arm of the little girl and cautioned her not to inform any one.
The school teachers were not aware until Michael Akrofi went to the school to investigate the case.
No official report has been made to the police as at yesterday.
