Legal practitioner, Dr. Maurice Ampaw wants the immediate arrest of Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan for allegedly sodomizing a 22-year-old student, Sarah Kwabla.

He questioned that – “Why is Asamoah Gyan walking freely when accused of sodomy?” – Maurice Ampaw also quizzed the police on its failure to arrest the former Sunderland striker – “The police must explain why. I am pushing them [police]. What is happening in this country?”

The case of Asamoah Gayn’s alleged sex-tape hit the media some weeks back when counsel for the victim, Lawyer Ampaw explained that Gyan actually sodomized the lady after a sexual encounter with his client.

Sarah Kwabla claimed the player forcibly had sex with her through her anus while she bled profusely but has refused to take responsibility for his actions - She also claimed to be pregnant as a result of the sexual intercourse.

Miss Kwabla is alleged to have demanded Asamoah Gyan to get her a furnished apartment, a housemaid and a monthly stipend of $1,000 for postnatal care.

However, the Black Stars captain has refused to accept the conditions describing the girl's actions as extortion.

The case is now in court after Lawyer Ampaw filed a complaint with the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU).

“The head of DOVVSU must act now on the girl’s complaints. If her accusations are false, then she [Sarah’ should be arrested; but is it is the other way round they must also arrest Gyan,” he said in an interview with NeatFM's "Ghana Montie" morning show. 

Dr. Maurice Ampaw further told host Kwesi Aboagye that despite his fight for justice for the girl – “I have not taken a penny from her Sarah Kwabla. It’s a charity work I am doing”.
