Agyepong And Afoko Are Not Ready To Campaign For Nana Addo - NPP Founding Member

A founding Member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Ayisi Boateng has called on his party flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo to start his 2016 campaign.

According to him, there is no time to waste any longer as there is no effort coming from NPP national Chairman, Paul Afoko and the General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong to make Nana Akufo-Addo the next president of Ghana.

Speaking on Okay FMs "Ade Akye Abia" Morning Show, Ayisi Boateng bemoaned the poor directives from the duo which are making the partys activities ineffective as NPP is yet to finalize on its primaries in certain constituencies due to misunderstanding.

I have said that Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong are the problem of NPP and that was why I said the party should put them aside; they must ensure the right thing is done. Kwabena Agyepong and Afoko didnt give correct directives and thats why some people have taken the party to court, he accused.

He further mentioned that it will do Nana Addo and the majority members of the NPP a lot of good if the party leader [Nana Addo] forms his campaign team without the duo.

The NDC is seriously campaigning for the 2016 elections but our CEO and Chairman of the party are doing nothing to counter their activities. This is why Nana Addo should ignore them to form his campaign team since he won the overwhelming support of the party, he advised.

Kwabena Agyepong and Afoko are not ready to work for Nana Addo to become the next President; dont look at the CEO or anybody to start campaigns, he added.

He asserted that former President Kufuor won the 2000 elections after he had formed his own campaign team as Nana Akufo-Addo will not be the first presidential candidate of NPP to form his campaign team.
