Akua Donkors Trip To Italy Was Strategic; She Doesnt Need A Degree To Join Government Delegation - Kofi Adams

The National Organizer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has justified the inclusion of the flagbearer and founder of the Ghana Freedom Party [GFP], Akua Donkor to Italy recently.

According to him, government strategically included the ‘comic-politician’ among its delegation because of her farming experience – “She doesn’t need a degree to join government delegation”.

“Tetteh Quarshie was a pre-independence Ghanaian agriculturalist and the person directly responsible for the introduction of cocoa crops to Ghana, which today constitute one of the major export crops of the Ghanaian economy, he was not educated just like Maame Akua Donkor,” he added.

Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show "Ghana Mo Tie", Kofi Adams alleged that the opposition New Patriotic Party [NPP] is responsible for the sarcastic comments making news about Akua Donkor’s trip to Italy.

He insisted that; “She [Akua Donkor] went there to learn”.

The NDC’s National Organizer also told "Ghana Mo Tie" host Kwasi Aboagye that – “I will support her [Akua Donkor] anytime on state trip to learn something for this country. I truly support her inclusion to this recent trip to Italy”.
