C&J Medicare Hospital Sponsors HR Focus Conference And Awards
The organizing Committee of the HR Focus Conference and Awards 2015 has paid a courtesy visit to the CEO of C&J Medicare Hospital, Dr. Joyce Djabatey.
Stating the purpose of the visit, Editor-in-Chief of the HR Focus magazine, Mr. David Attricki, said that the visit was to thank the company for sponsoring the upcoming HR Focus Conference and Awards 2015.
In a brief address, CEO of C&J Medicare Hospital, Dr. Joyce Djabatey, said, “HR Focus magazine has championed the course of HR in organisations through its insightful articles and spotlights.”
She highlighted the importance of the HR Focus Conference and Awards to corporate bodies, individuals and the HR Community as a whole, bemoaning the fact that some companies still see HR as an administrative function whereas other companies are leveraging on the strategies of HR to stay ahead of competition.
Dr. Djabatey advised that HR should be more concerned about the health of their staff in order to prevent absenteeism and other workplace issues related to ill health. She said, “…this will enhance productivity and contribute to national development.”
Mr. Attricki commended Dr. Djabatey for her contribution towards employee health and wellness through their “Well Man” and “Well Woman” health packages.
He used the opportunity to call on other corporate bodies to sponsor the HR Focus Conference and Awards. He said, “Both the HR Forum and Career Development session of the HR Focus Conference are free of charge. This is HR Focus’ way of championing HR innovations and development. We are therefore calling on companies and corporate bodies to help make the event a success by sponsoring.”
